The great-grandson of Portuguese can obtain Portuguese nationality

Nationality
portuguese nationality

For the great-grandson to have the right, it is essential that the son or the grandson of the Portuguese is alive and one of these two, son or grandson, obtain citizenship first.

When the Portuguese grandson obtains nationality, he becomes Portuguese and, therefore, what was once the great grandson becomes the son of a Portuguese.

When it is the son of the Portuguese who obtains nationality, what was previously a son, becomes Portuguese and therefore, what was once the great-grandson becomes the grandson of Portuguese.

Thus, as a child or grandchild, it is clear that you can obtain nationality and then you can continue on to the next generations.
