Portugal considered one of the best countries for remote work by Forbes

Uncategorized

Forbes included Portugal in the top of the most attractive countries for young people around the world and reminds that the country offers good conditions to those who want to move to Portugal and work here in technological areas or remotely to other countries.

The “Extended Visas” for freelancers and independent workers are one of the main factors that bring digital nomads to Portugal, besides other characteristics that already make the country attractive to this generation of professionals: “The country’s natural beauty, the fantastic weather, the low cost of living, a business-friendly attitude and easy access to the rest of the European Union.

It is also these characteristics that place Portugal in the fourth position of the “2022 Annual Global Retirement Index“, which points out the ten best countries to live the retirement.

In addition, the travel search engine momondo revealed in January 2022 the best countries in the world to work remotely, placing Portugal at the top of the list with high scores in all categories, including climate, social life, low crime rate and relatively affordable cost of living.
