Portuguese nationality for great-grandson or great-grandfather

Nationality
nationality great-grandson

For the great-grandson to have the right to Portuguese nationality, it is essential that the son or the grandson of the Portuguese is alive and one of these two, son or grandson, obtain their citizenship first.

When the Portuguese grandson obtains nationality, he becomes Portuguese and, who was the great grandson before, becomes the son of a Portuguese.

When it is the son of the Portuguese who obtains nationality, who was previously a son, becomes Portuguese and, who was once the great-grandson becomes the grandson of Portuguese.

So, as a child or grandchild, it is clear that you can obtain nationality and then you can continue to pass on to the following generations.
