For whom is the Portuguese Residence Certificate for?

The right of entry and residence in Portugal covers citizens of the countries of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), the Principality of Andorra and Switzerland, as well as their family members regardless of country of origin.

Family members who can apply for a Portuguese Resident Certificate are:

Spouse;
Children up to 21 years old;
Children over 21 who prove they are still dependent;
Parents who are still dependent.
