The village of Nisa, in Portalegre, Alentejo is the cheapest area to buy a house in Portugal, according to a study by Idealista News published at the end of January 2023 and which evaluates the 25 cheapest municipalities to buy a house in Portugal<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In Alto Alentejo, Nisa, located in the district of Portalegre, occupies first place in the ranking of the 25 cheapest places to buy a home in Portugal. The Idealista News study reveals that on average \u2013 and in 2022 \u2013 the square meter (euros\/m2) was fixed at 420 euros. If we compare these values with Lisbon, for example, where last year an average of 3,642 euros\/m2 (square meter) was estimated, it is easy to understand the lag in the real estate market.<\/p>\n

The district of Portalegre appears several times in the ranking, but in different positions: if on the one hand Nisa is the cheapest place, on the other hand, Alter do Ch\u00e3o in the same geographical area parades in last place.<\/p>\n
